About
Dr. Laura Glaser is a doctorally prepared, board-certified family nurse practitioner from the Medical University of South Carolina who has completed clinical residency through the Medical University School of Nursing program in Charleston and surrounding areas. Prior to graduate and postgraduate school, Dr. Glaser completed undergraduate studies in Nursing at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Professional Medical Experience
Dr. Glaser’s experience includes general family practice, pediatrics, geriatrics, women's health, otolaryngology, oncology, hospice, palliative care, emergency care nursing, weight loss management with GLP-1/GIP, and aesthetics.
Her practice settings include inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, rural community outreach, and home health. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, The American Nurses Association, the South Carolina Nurses Association, the American Med Spa Association, and Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society.
She is Board-Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in family practice, the Academy of Procedural Medicine, and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration as a Medical Examiner. Additionally, she holds certificates in Aesthetics in Neurotoxins, filler, PDO thread lifting, PRP/PRF for hair restoration, Advanced Facial Aesthetics, micro-needling, and sclerotherapy. Throughout her career, she has held positions as Director of Nursing for pediatrics, Director of Operations for Professional Services in Home Health, and Director of Operations in Business.
